All the Good Stuff Happening in Burton!

Thursday 10th July 2025

👋 Welcome to this week’s InBurton Insider!

In this week's Insider we’re rolling into a sun-drenched weekend with some brilliant news and a packed-out events calendar.

First up, Branston Bridge is finally open again - goodbye diversions, hello smooth sailing! In town, there’s excitement brewing as The Winery gears up to reopen on 1st August with a brand new name: The Long Hop.

And raising a well-earned pint to local pride, The Telegraph has named not one, but three Burton pubs among the Top 500 in England: The Devonshire Arms, The Coopers Tavern, and Burton Bridge Inn. Cheers to that!

As for the weekend? Whether you're into monster trucks, river regattas, soul nights or psychic strolls, there's something for everyone. Highlights include live music across town, Burton Regatta making a splash, and even a Mods & Minis takeover in Tutbury.

Oh, and the weather? Glorious. Bring the suncream.
