🏨 The Stanhope Arms and Premier Inn on Ashby Road are up for sale for £785,000. The combined property includes 32 hotel rooms and a restaurant and bar seating 140 people, set on a 1.084-acre site.
⚽ Burton Albion secured a hard-fought 2-1 home victory over Leyton Orient on Saturday. An injury-hit Brewers side put in a spirited performance to claim all three points.
🏛️ Staffordshire County Council has its fourth Reform UK leader in just 18 months. Councillor Hayley Coles has taken over as acting leader following the resignation of Martin Murray.
⚽ Burton Albion has appointed Adam Benson as its new CEO. He joins from Oxford United, where he was Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer, and will oversee the Brewers' commercial operations.
🎾 Shobnall Leisure Complex has completed three new padel court canopies. The covered courts mean players can now enjoy the increasingly popular sport all year round, whatever the weather.
🏠 The former court building on Horninglow Road has been converted into apartments. The newly transformed properties are now available to rent through Burton letting agents Nicholas Humphreys. |

Bonfire Night 2026 is set to light up Burton-on-Trent and nearby villages with an exciting lineup of fireworks displays and festivities for all ages.
