Field Fest

Looking for a big night out under the stars? The Studio Six Company has you covered with Field Fest, a high-energy evening of live music, fireworks, and good times at Stapenhill Fields Farm on Saturday 19th July.

Running from 6:00pm to 11:00pm, this mini-festival promises a buzzing atmosphere with top local acts including Liquid Brass, The VivaTones, and AZA – an NHS ambulance dispatcher.

Expect a mix of popular party anthems and original songs, all leading up to a spectacular firework finale.

Musicals in the Meadow

Get ready for a showstopping Sunday as The Studio Six Company brings Broadway to Burton with Musicals in the Meadow, an open-air celebration of song, stage, and sunshine!

Taking place at Stapenhill Fields Farm Meadow on Sunday 20th July at 4:30pm, this one-off performance features West End talents Timothy Lucas (Blood Brothers) and Ashley Samuels (Hairspray), alongside a live orchestra and performers from musical theatre groups across the Midlands.

Expect stirring hits from shows like Waitress, Dear Evan Hansen, Cabaret, Sister Act, Bonnie & Clyde, Chicago, and many more - all set against the backdrop of a warm summer evening (with any luck!).

🎟️ Tickets are £20.00 – bring a blanket or camping chair, grab some snacks, and soak up the showbiz in the great outdoors.

Tucked away at the side of the old brewery on Station Street stands the Burton Beer Barrel Fountain. It's a bit tired these days, a little unloved, and certainly weathered by time, but it's still a unique symbol of the town’s rich brewing heritage.

This local landmark now faces demolition, following a new planning application, despite original promises to preserve and relocate it as part of town regeneration efforts.

Staffordshire County Council will launch a series of major roadworks throughout Burton on Trent from July to September 2025, following the full reopening of Branston Bridge.

The planned upgrades aim to enhance traffic flow and safety across key routes, including Shobnall Road, Orchard Street, and Lichfield Street.
