Burton’s got a spring in its step this weekend, with the CAMRA Beer & Cider Festival back at the Town Hall - raising glasses and spirits alike. Friday’s packed with music, from Good Habits at The Corner House and Just Adam at The Crossing, to Mukka and the Wizard Sleeves at Brews of the World.

Saturday turns it up a notch with the Sausage & Cider Festival Raceday at Uttoxeter, plus a full line-up of local talent including The Detroits, Dr Spork, and Lunar and the Groove. There’s also a drag night at The Grange and a Freddie Mercury tribute belting out the hits in Tutbury.

Sunday’s a mixed bag of heart and headlock - Mother’s Day for those lucky enough to celebrate, Eid in the Park at Shobnall Fields, and a charity wrestling event at Marston’s Social Club that promises to be a real smackdown (in the nicest possible way). Just don’t forget the clocks go forward - you wouldn’t want to miss your Sunday roast by accident!
