Santa’s Sleigh Routes in Burton - Christmas 2025

One of Burton’s best-loved festive traditions is back for 2025 – Santa and his sleigh are hitting the streets once again!

Organised by the brilliant volunteers at the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Burton Group, Santa’s illuminated sleigh will be travelling through a different part of town each evening, giving families the chance to step outside, wave to Santa, and enjoy the magic of Christmas right on their doorstep.

The sleigh is accompanied by DofE volunteers and helpers, some of whom will be collecting donations for local charities as they go – so if you spot the buckets, do give generously if you can.

Each route starts after dark (roughly from 5.30pm onwards), and Santa will cover as many of the listed streets as possible on each night. It’s a magical experience for children (and quite a few grown-ups too!), so get your hats and gloves on and don’t miss it!
