🕰️ New Era Begins for The Dial Bar & Restaurant |
Much-loved Burton restaurant enters new ownership as local family takes over with plans to honour the past - and add a few surprises. |
After more than two decades at the heart of Burton’s food and drink scene, The Dial Bar & Restaurant on Station Street is turning the page on a new chapter.
Longtime owners James and Emily, who have spent the past 23 years growing The Dial into one of the town’s most cherished spots, have now officially handed over the reins. The business - and the building itself -have been purchased by Yeomans Developments Ltd, a family-run company with strong local roots.
The outgoing pair have been key to shaping The Dial’s reputation for relaxed dining, quality food, and top-notch service, and they leave with the heartfelt thanks of a loyal customer base. They were keen to find new owners who would honour the spirit of the place, and say they’re confident they’ve found the right fit.
Stepping into their shoes are Laren and Christine Yeomans, along with their five children - yes, it really is a full family affair! They’re excited to build on the strong foundations already in place and have hinted at some exciting changes to come. One idea teased so far is intriguingly described as “turning the clock back”… so we’ll be keeping an eye on their socials for clues.
In the meantime, regulars can relax - it’s very much business as usual. The brilliant team behind the bar and in the kitchen aren’t going anywhere, and the warm welcome that made The Dial so popular will remain at the heart of the experience.
Here’s to the next chapter of The Dial - a local favourite getting ready for its next 20 years. |
