Burton’s Christmas Bin Collection Dates – What You Need to Know
Festive bin collections in Burton mostly unchanged – just three dates moved to keep things running smoothly.
With the festive season just around the corner, East Staffordshire Borough Council has confirmed that wheelie bin collections in Burton on Trent will continue as usual throughout the Christmas and New Year period - with just a few small changes to accommodate the bank holidays. Regular bin collections will go ahead on all normal days except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. If your usual collection falls on one of these three holidays, don’t worry - the Council has arranged early or rescheduled collections, so your festive waste won’t be hanging around for long. Here are the dates to note:
To help with the extra rubbish that tends to build up over the holidays, households affected by these changes can also put out up to three additional bin liners of grey bin waste alongside their grey wheelie bin on their revised collection day (either 27th December or 3rd January). ♻️ A Quick Reminder:
So, there’s no need to panic about wrapping paper pile-ups or leftover turkey trays - just mark your calendars, pop your bins out on time, and enjoy the festive season with a tidy conscience. |
