Weighbridge Inn Closes Its Doors
Much-loved Burton pub says a fond farewell after years of laughter, friendship and community spirit
We were sad to hear this evening that The Weighbridge Inn has officially closed.
In a heartfelt message shared by the team, Mandy wrote:
The Weighbridge has long been a part of the Burton on Trent community - welcoming locals, serving pints with a smile, and being a cosy spot for connection and conversation. It’s never easy to say goodbye to a local favourite, especially one with such heart behind it.
We’d like to thank the whole team for everything they’ve brought to the town over the years. It’s clear they’ve created not just a pub, but a place full of memories and friendships.
Here’s hoping we’ll see the Weighbridge’s doors open again in the future. In the meantime, we wish Mandy, Richard, Matthew and the whole crew all the very best in whatever comes next.
